The Lifestory Research 2022 America's Most Trusted® Power Tool Study found the most trusted brand among people considering the purchase of a power tool brand was Dewalt.  Dewalt produced the highest score and rank on the Net Trust Quotient Score among recognized power tool brands in the study.  Dewalt captured the 5 Star Rating with a Net Trust Quotient Score of 119.8 among people actively shopping for a power tool.  

The number of people evaluating each power tool brand in the 2022 study included 5,286 customers shopping for a power tool. Trust is calculated with the Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient Score, in which each power tool brand is ranked based on consumer trust. An index score of 100 is average for all power tool brands included in the study. A top #1 rank represents the power tool brand that generated the highest Net Trust Quotient Score within the product category.

WHAT ARE THE MOST TRUSTED BRANDS IN AMERICA?

The America's Most Trusted® Study calculates the trust people have across 50 product categories from Home Builders to HVAC Systems to Tools to Kitchen Appliances. People taking the survey provide opinions of trust, quality, word-of-mouth, the likelihood of recommending to others, and several other brand equity questions. The data collected across more than 500 brands provides keen insight into how trust plays a role in people's impressions of the most popular brands in the marketplace.

To determine the Lifestory Research 2022 America's Most Trusted® Power Tool, the trust ratings for the most recognized brands were calculated.  In this year's study, the power tool brands most recognized in the study were Dewalt, Craftsman, Black+Decker, Bosch, Stanley, Ryobi, Kobalt, Milwaukee, Makita, and Husky, and Ridgid.

When making purchase considerations, people taking the survey provide their opinions and experiences with those brands they have considered.
