RANKED: 2024 AMERICA’S MOST TRUSTED CARPET BRAND

What are the Best Flooring Carpet Brands?

Carpet is a universal product standard in almost every new home. Consumers tell us that carpets differ not only based on the look and feel of the product but also on specific features they consider when shopping for carpet flooring for their home. Consumers report that pile height, density, stain resistance, warranty, and material type are top-of-mind features they evaluate in shopping. Shopping for carpet can become a drawn-out process given the multitude of decisions consumers need to make, but often, they indicate that the carpet brand is a crucial decision criterion.

Given the number of brands in the marketplace, which carpet brands do people consider the best?

The 2024 America’s Most Trusted Study

The America's Most Trusted® study has helped brands understand why trust has been essential to consumers for over ten years. A successful brand recognizes the direct connection between consumer trust and business performance. As the definitive ranking of brand trust, the study is eagerly anticipated by consumers and brand managers every year, with updated results published in January.

Brand trust signifies customers' belief in a brand's ability to deliver its promises. Building and sustaining brand trust is paramount for securing customer loyalty. When consumers trust a flooring carpet brand, they exhibit a heightened confidence in purchasing and endorsing it to their network. Furthermore, flooring carpet brand trust serves as a linchpin in nurturing customer loyalty, as individuals are more inclined to stick with a brand they trust. It serves as a catalyst for recurring transactions, drives word-of-mouth endorsements, and fosters favorable impressions of the company.

Lifestory Research shares the latest results of the America’s Most Trusted® study every year. We survey thousands of consumers each year regarding their perceptions and experiences of different brand products in over 75 specific product studies. This study uses the Net Trust Quotient Score to assess people's trust in specific flooring carpet brands when shopping.

The Net Trust Quotient Score (NTQS) is a quantifiable measure that gauges the extent of trust customers have in a specific flooring carpet brand. This metric plays a crucial role in determining if a product aligns with customer expectations compared to competing flooring carpet brands. Built on the foundation of social and opinion science research, the NTQS yields consumer-centric data insights, adhering rigorously to the highest standards of consumer research quality.

What are the top carpet brands people trust the most? To answer this question, the top carpet brands were rated in the America’s Most Trusted Study. The study aims to identify the carpet brands people trust the most by asking them to rate each brand within the product category.

Lifestory Research's ratings, reviews, and awards stem from meticulous survey feedback, specifically gathered from the opinions and trust ratings of participants in the carpet flooring study. Our methodology does not use third-party reviews, editorial committees, or input from industry professionals when identifying the most trusted carpet flooring brands. Instead, we prioritize the authentic perspectives of real individuals, adhering to stringent social scientific survey standards to derive carpet flooring ratings. 2024 America’s Most Trusted Carpet

The Lifestory Research 2024 America’s Most Trusted® Carpet Study found Stainmaster to be the most trusted brand among people considering the purchase of flooring carpet. With the Net Trust Quotient Score of 110.9. Stainmaster has captured the highest trust scores every year of the Lifestory Research study. For a brand to capture the top spot year in and year out reflects consumers' trust in this carpet brand.

Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized by people actively shopping for flooring carpets. The Lifestory Research 2024 America’s Most Trusted® Carpet ranking is based on 3,023 opinions of people surveyed in the United States over the last 12 months. Stainmaster, Mohawk, Karastan, Shaw, Couristan, Stanton, Kaleen, Phenix, Anderson Tuftex, and Masland were the most trusted carpet brands.

To be included in the final ranking, carpet brands must have had a certain level of brand awareness. A carpet brand's low awareness and insufficient evaluative data determined exclusion from the rankings. To qualify, carpet brands needed to accumulate enough survey responses to attain a 95% confidence level with no more than a 3% margin of error. This statistical rigor is central to the accuracy and representativeness of the surveyed population's opinions concerning the carpet brands analyzed.
