In the decade since America's Most Trusted® was launched, it has enhanced brands' understanding of the factors affecting consumer trust. It is of paramount importance that successful brands understand the direct impact consumer trust has on their business performance. The ranking of brand trust by Lifestory Research has become the definitive ranking and is eagerly awaited every year.

Customers' trust in the brand measures its ability to deliver its promises. The development of brand trust with customers is crucial for securing their loyalty. When consumers trust a brand, they are more likely to purchase and recommend it. Brand trust also aids in building customer loyalty, as customers stick with the brands they trust.

Lifestory Research shares the most recent results of America’s Most Trusted® at the start of every year. We conduct over 75 specific product studies annually, surveying thousands of people about their perceptions and experiences with different brand products. During this study, we investigate how much people trust specific brands while shopping for a specific product using our validated Net Trust Quotient Score. Net Trust Quotient Scores (NTQS) are a metric that assesses whether consumers are confident about a particular brand within a particular product category. The scores determine if the product meets consumer expectations compared to competitors. Using social and opinion science research practices that adhere to the highest quality consumer research standards, this trust metric aims to provide consumer-driven insights into consumer behavior.

2024 America’s Most Trusted Lawn Care Brand

The Lifestory Research 2024 America’s Most Trusted® Lawn Care Brand Study found Miracle-Gro to be the most trusted brand among people shopping for lawn care products. With a Net Trust Quotient Score of 111.3, Miracle-Gro had the highest trust rating among the most popular lawn care brands.  

Miracle-Gro received the best reviews and trust ratings among the most popular lawn care brands as judged by consumers. The most trusted lawn care brands in order were Miracle-Gro, Scotts, Ortho, BioAdvance, Vigoro, Lesco, Spectracide, Milogranite, Preen, GreenView, Sunday, and Round-Up.  

The Lifestory Research 2024 America’s Most Trusted® Lawn Care Brand ranking is based on 5,636 opinions of people surveyed in the United States over the last 12 months. Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized by people actively shopping for lawn care products. Trust is a direct measure of how people rank the quality of lawn care brands, review and evaluate the quality of lawn care products, and report customer satisfaction with them.

If a brand's recognition and feedback didn't meet specific criteria, it was not considered for our rankings. To qualify, brands had to obtain sufficient survey responses, resulting in a 95% confidence level with no more than a 3% margin of error. This stringent standard ensures that the results are reliable and represent the opinions of the surveyed population.
